Condoms: Thin, Strong, Textured, Flavoured

A condom is still the unglamorous hero. It keeps fluids where you mean them to be and clean-up more straightforward.

We don’t stock every box in New Zealand. We stock a short list: thinner, stronger, textured, or flavoured. That’s enough to choose without standing in the supermarket aisle looking lost.

Ultra thin
Share Satisfaction Ultra Thin (3 or 12) and Durex Thin Feel (10). These are for when you want as little between you as possible. Same job as any other latex condom — just a finer feel. If “I can barely tell” is the brief, start here.

Ultra strong
Share Satisfaction Ultra Strong (3 or 12). Same idea, more material. Useful if you’ve had a split before, you like a firmer feel, or you’d rather not think about it mid-way through. Not a personality test. Just a thicker wall.

Textured
Share Satisfaction Textured (3 or 12) and Four Seasons Studded & Ribbed (12). Ribs, dots, a bit of extra sensation for whoever is on the outside of the condom. A 3-pack is the cheap way to find out.

Flavoured
Strawberry, banana, or a mixed 12. These earn their keep for oral. They are not a dessert. If it goes near a toy, check the lube rules below — flavour coatings can be sticky, and you still want a water-based lube with latex.

Latex and lube
Water-based lube is the usual match when using latex condoms. Silicone lube is usually fine with latex too; it is not fine with silicone toys. Oil (including a lot of massage oil and some “natural” balms) can weaken latex. If you’re unsure, water-based is the boring, correct answer. There’s a separate Guide on lubricant types.

3-pack or 12-pack
A 3-pack is for “we’re trying this shape.” A 12-pack is for the one you already know you like. That’s the whole decision.

A small practical note
Every order from us already includes a small care gift of lube and condoms. If you want a specific type in the drawer, pick it off this list rather than hoping the gift matches your favourite.

Check the date on the box, open it the right way, and leave space at the tip. The packet has been explaining that since before any of us had a website!
